I made this as a part of my daughter’s sweet sixteen pink dessert table, along with pink chocolate covered Oreos and pink chocolate covered pretzel rods.
If I had to do these ruffles again, I would probably cover the cake with fondant first so the ruffles will adhere strongly. It still adhered to the buttercream, but as the cake got warmer sitting out, the ruffles were slightly slipping, but it still worked out.
