1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup milk
approximately 4-6 slices of white or whole wheat bread
Jam and extra maple syrup
- Whisk the eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup and milk together in a wide and shallow bowl.
- Melt some butter in a pan. Dip each slice of bread on both sides in the egg mixture, letting excess drip off.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- For a fun Canada day breakfast, use a maple leaf cookie cutter to cut the middle of the bread out, and fill with jam if desired. Serve with extra maple syrup. Enjoy!
