Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients:

4 cups frozen strawberries

2 tbsp of cornstarch (if you want it thicker)

1/3-1/2 cup of sugar

1/8 tsp salt

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/4 tsp vanilla

Instructions:

1.) Mix all ingredients except for vanilla, in a small pan well. Cook on low-medium heat until sauce is thickened.

2.) Remove from heat. Mixture will thicken a little more upon cooling. Add vanilla.

3.) Mash most of the berries with a fork, or to desired texture.

If you want a thicker sauce, add cornstarch. If you wanted a thinner consistency, don’t use the cornstarch.
