Spicy Korean Ground Beef Bowl

This recipe was so quick, easy and delicious! I didn’t have green onions or sesame seeds like in the original recipe, but I still enjoyed it!!

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 red finger chili, chopped

  • 600g of ground beef

  • For The Sauce:
  • 4 tbsp gochujang paste

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp mirin

  • 2.5 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 2 tbsp fresh minced ginger

  • 1 tbsp fresh minced garlic

  • pinch black pepper

  • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil

Directions

  • In a large saucepan, cook ground beef for a couple of minutes, breaking it up and browning it.
  • Add the onion and chili. Cook for another 5-7.
  • Mix sauce ingredients together very well until smooth. Add to the beef, mixing well until all the meat is coated nicely. Remove from heat.
  • Serve over Jasmine rice. Enjoy!
