Strawberry Sauce

This sauce is so versatile. You can use it on ice cream, waffles, pancakes and vanilla cheesecake-Link Here-


4 cups frozen strawberries

1 tbsp plus 1 tsp cornstarch

1/2 cup water

2-4 tbsp sugar (to taste)

1/8 tsp salt

1-2 tbsp grenadine

1/4 tsp vanilla or strawberry emulsion


1.) Mix all ingredients except for vanilla, in a small pan well. Cook on low-medium heat until sauce is thickened.

2.) Remove from heat. Mixture will thicken a little more upon cooling. Add vanilla.

3.) Mash most of the berries with a fork, or to desired texture.

If you want a thicker sauce, add more cornstarch. If you wanted a thinner consistency, lessen the cornstarch, or add more liquid.
