Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 minced garlic cloves
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp flour
1/2 cup tomato passata or marinara
5 cups chicken stock
1 cup milk
1 pound elbow pasta or other similar sized shapes
12 oz shredded cheddar
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp granulated garlic powder
1 tsp granulated onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp chili powder
pinch chili flakes
2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp pepper
Directions
- In a large pan, add the oil and brown the beef, breaking it up until almost browned.
- Add the onions and garlic and cook for a few minutes, then add the salt, pepper and all the spices and cook for another minute
- Stir in the flour until fully blended in, for another minute or so.
- Add the stock, milk, tomato sauce and bring to a boil, simmer for around 5 minutes, then add the pasta and cook until tender.
- Stir in the cheese well. Enjoy!
