Ground Beef Frittata

Ground Beef Frittata

Ingredients

  • 1/2 a pound (8oz) of ground beef

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1/2 bell pepper, chopped

  • 8 eggs

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp granulated garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, pepper and spices. Set aside.
  • In an 8 inch non stick pan over medium heat, add the ground beef, cook, breaking it up until half way browned.
  • Add the onions and bell peppers. Cook until softened and the beef is fully browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Pour in the egg mixture, spread everything evenly, sprinkle cheese on top, turning heat to low, and cook for another minute. Turn heat off.
  • Carefully transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake for about 9-10 minutes, until it’s not jiggly. Let rest for a couple of minutes before cutting. Enjoy!
