Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

This recipe is slightly adapted from


  • 3 very ripe bananas, mashed

  • 2 cups almond flour

  • 1/2 cup brown rice flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


  • In a medium bowl, mash the bananas. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir very well with a spatula.
  • Fill a greased loaf and parchment lined loaf pan.
  • Pour batter in and spread evenly.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for approx. 50-60 min, or until toothpick comes out clean in the centre. Let cool in pan, then enjoy!
