For this fun pumpkin sugar cookie project, I used my go-to sugar cookie recipe! To decorate, I used my royal icing recipe. For the decor, I used fondant in molds for the leaves and roses, painted them with gold lustre dust mixed with a bit of vodka and edible sugar pearls. For the stem, I used a thicker consistency of ivory royal icing and wilton tip #16, then when dried, painted with gold.
For the drop stems, I used wilton tip #2 in thicker (medium consistency) royal icing, and for the piped royal icing leaves I used wilton tip #352.
I also shaded the lines with a bit of the gold lustre dust, very slightly, to give that vintage effect.
