Salsa Rice


  • 1 tbsp grapeseed oil

  • 1/2 onion, diced

  • 1 minced garlic clove

  • 1 cup long grain white rice

  • 1/2 cup jarred salsa

  • 2 cups water


  • Heat oil in pan. Sauce onions for a couple of minutes.
  • Add the rice and cook for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the garlic cloves and stir, then add the salsa. Stir until rice is coated.
  • Add the water, bring to a boil, lower heat, cover and simmer for around 15 min.
  • Turn heat off and let sit covered for 5 more minutes.
  • Fluff with fork. Enjoy!
