For these fun cookies, I did the bow ties in advance as royal icing transfers. I used a template and let it dry overnight.
I used white flood consistency royal icing and immediately dropped the bow on and let the cookies dry overnight. Simple but so so cute!
I’m in a pinch…need to work on 40 onesie cookies for baby boy. I love your white onesie with bow tie. I just don’t have any of the tools you used, like templates or piping bags or tips. I’ve never made them.
Hi Nicolette,
You can go to your nearest bakery supply store for the tipless piping bags, (you don’t need piping tips, just cut a tiny hole at the tip of the bag), or from amazon, they have tipless bags. Also, you can search on google for the bow tie template, or get it from Etsy. The cookie cutter is also available on Amazon, (depending on what country you live in). Let me know if you have any more questions! Christine
