Ingredients
1 pound sliced beef sirloin tip
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp shaoxing wine
For the sauce:
1 tsp sesame oil
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tsp minced fresh ginger
2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp shaoxing wine
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup water
For the stir-fry:
2 tbsp grapeseed oil
1 onion, chopped
4 cups broccoli florets
Directions
- Mix the beef ingredients together. Let sit for about 20 minutes.
- Mix the sauce ingredients together well. Set aside.
- In a wok, or large pan, heat oil. Add beef in single layer over high heat. Let brown for a few minutes without stirring.
- Add onion, cook for a minute, then mix in the broccoli for another minute.
- Add the sauce, let bubble until thickened, and broccoli is tender, but still has a bite to it. Serve over Jasmine rice. Enjoy!
