Baja Sauce

Fish and shrimp tacos are not complete without this sauce-it’s a must:)

Baja Sauce


  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves

  • 1 tsp homemade taco seasoning

  • 1-2 tbsp minced chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt


  • Puree all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Chill until ready to serve. Serve with fish tacos. Enjoy!

    1. Hi Fatima, you can keep it in the fridge as long as the the expiry date of your sour cream that you used to make it. It lasts a long while. Hope this helps! Christine
