Ingredients

For Fish:
3 pounds white fish fillets (I used Basa fillets)
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 tbsp homemade taco seasoning
1 tsp each granulated garlic and onion powder
1 tbsp lemon pepper
2-4 tbsp coconut coil for frying
- For Shrimp:
1 1/2 pounds shrimp, peeled
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp homemade taco seasoning
- To Finish:
1 lemon or lime
Toppings-Guacamole, Baja sauce, Pico de Gallo, slaw, pickled red onions.
For the slaw, I mixed a 14oz pkg of slaw mix with 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp sea salt, and 1 tsp honey. Stir. Let sit.
Directions
- Cut fish into smaller pieces. Season with spices, salt and pepper. Season shrimp also.
- In a large skillet, heat coconut oil. Fry fish 2-3 minutes per side, depending on thickness, over medium high heat.
- Serve with soft tortilla shells, corn tortillas, hard shells and toppings. This is not complete without this BAJA SAUCE. Enjoy!
