Sugar cookie recipe is also available to use this icing on.
4 cups icing sugar
3 tbsp meringue powder
1 1/2 tsp imitation butter flavour
1 1/2 tsp clear vanilla extract
2 tsp lemon juice
3-6 tbsp water
More water if needed
- In a bowl of a stand mixer, add icing sugar and meringue powder. Mix together.
- Then add the lemon juice, extracts and water.
- Add the water gradually until consistency is similar to toothpaste.
- Whip on med-low speed for around 5 minutes. Now it’s time to colour if desired, and thin some out for flooding a cookie. Enjoy!
