This hot chocolate is so cozy! With the flavours of fall, I use my homemade pumpkin pie spice recipe-https://www.iftheovenmittfits.com/2018/09/30/homemade-pumpkin-pie-spice/
Topped with my maple whipped cream that I used for my pumpkin pie-https://www.iftheovenmittfits.com/2018/10/20/pumpkin-pie/
and a sprinkle of cinnamon and cinnamon stick for garnish. The most perfect Autumn drink!
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup cream
1/4 cup pure pumpkin puree
1 tsp homemade pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
- In a pot, heat milk, cream, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice and salt. Whisk. Let it come to a gentle bubble.
- Turn heat off. Add chocolate chips. Cover, and let sit for 1 minute.
- Whisk until smooth, and no chocolate chips remain unmelted.
- Whisk in vanilla.
- Top with whipped cream and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a cinnamon stick, if desired. Enjoy!
