Navy Bean Dip

1 large garlic clove (or 2 small)
2 green finger chilies
1 can (2 cups) navy beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup of flavoured TAHINA sauce (recipe follows below)
2-4 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder

In a food processor, blend chilies and garlic until finely chopped. Add rest of ingredients and purée until smooth. Scrape into serving dish, garnish with a sprinkle of smoked paprika. Enjoy!

Flavoured Tahina Sauce
Inspired and adapted from…

1/4 cup tahina
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 small garlic clove, minced
2 Tbsp tomato purée (passata)
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp molasses
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4-1/2 tsp chipotle powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika

In bowl, whisk all ingredients together until smooth. Use as dressing, sauce, or in this case for the navy bean dip!
